Academia is “disconnected from much of American society”

A survey of campus CEOs suggests the increasing cost of tuition combined with nonstop student activism and the perception of liberal bias is contributing to a rising distrust in America’s colleges and universities.  According to a survey conducted by Inside Higher Ed, over 50% of university presidents agree that academia is “disconnected from much of American society.”
